Dear Patti: Where is my Cat?

O Patti, sweet Patti, from the county of State,

New York Pelham Parkwayers have said you are great!

To that I replied, “My and why is she so shy?!”

Which retorted back “I doesn’t know why.”

I left my keys in the Keys. No joke. I….Miss Fussy Patunia, went Swiss Cheese brained in the Largo port. It was delightful. Oh I wish I hadn’t drowned my Olympus waterproof, impact proof camera. It hung like the legendary dead albatross on the Ancient Mariner’s neck…except mine hung down towards the reef. Heavy sucker! It was my first dive and I didn’t like having dead weight. So I picked a pink noodle!

I slipped the pink noodle between my snorkel vest and my bosom and it helped me stretch my arms outlength for a good swim. And we swam. We swam smack dab in the middle of the whole ocean. Me, Lucie and the fishies. That’s it! Actually there were more persons but it was  hard enough to find each other! Our masks were leaking and my hose pipe kept closing up. Ya’d think I’d need to breathe or something like that, huh?!  So I whale-bellied up…not to die or choke to death from swallowing I don’t know how much gawd awful saltz waters….yucky yucky dry your gutty…water…love swimming in it and keeping it on the OUTSIDE of my mermaid body. Phew. So I adjusted the hose and mask at a complete easy going float in the middle of the whole ocean in the whole wide world. Nice.

Then the world beneath the top layer of the sea: wonders! oh my fishie and brainy coral gorgeosity miraculous fish nipping each other just like kids or birds! They were so colorful…so muted….so designed…..I squeezed the jellyfish. Just a teeeeeeeeeeny touch…wouldn’t have touched it but that it was right on me….fans ….delicate fan shaped leaves paddling back and forth without much movement.

When I came home from my trip back ocean home, my cat was better at coming out of her hiding place. She’s aloof. I should’a brought her a loufa. Darn.
