The Garden House – HoolaHoop

European art is based on the rectangle. Asian art adores the round. Without going into the iridiology and pscyhology of these symbolic shapes, I like the round. Old hoola hoops donated by the school’s aftercare director are perfect plant drapes. They pop color on my patio which sees mostly green. I have three hoola hoops: green, red and purple.

  1. I am enjoying the very nice pastel work, but I would love to see some watercolors if possible, with tips on technique.
