Happy Muse Year 2019

Curiosity starts when?

May the coming days and weeks continue the sprouting progress begun in the year that just departed. As often as we can look at what didn’t work, there’s more that did.

Being or becoming curious is a mad and wonderful widening thing. I say “mad” as an artist is “mad”, and only for the sake of letting the ego step aside and ask ‘what else is there to learn’?

I find Learning a satisfying experience. Sometimes the goal of the Learning is for a goal; often-as-much, Learning is the jumping point for experience.

This year, I might go back to my early roots and attempt the learn the language of my parents and ancestry. It’s in my head already; my confusions are often because I speak English with another language mindset.

Lately, I’ve had an appreciation for Spanish. I never learned it in school. I don’t pick language up like I do art. But what I’ve understood is that it’s a warm language with literal mental concepts. Perhaps that is caused by its Latin Language roots. “Warm” isn’t a temperature in this case: it’s a sense of flair and personality. The Latin Based languages are known as “the Romance Languages” and for good reason other than coming out of Rome.

I wish all and everyone a mighty new year…one that gives you strength to achieve your goals and a fine purpose in having them.
