Apologies and Piglets

The title of this painting is: Piggy Bank.

The mini-goats at the barn live in the “Bank” wooden house. The farm chickens live next door. I thought a slosh of pigs should also live there so I put in the pink. To the left of the Bank, I have a low fenced-in area which I think should house pigs. The pink ones are the better color choice.

This piece is 7 x 10″ Arches Watercolor Paper Rough, fine watercolors and fine pastels. I began this painting while on the wooden rocking chair underneath the airy roof.

I have come to a new stage of Self. The friends and family who have been there for me and known my life saw my eureka outbursts and they were epic! As my life has been. So recently, I saw Saturn. I saw Saturn with my own eye on the telescope. This impacted me with excitement and energy that I’m blasting into new creative territory.

My Piglet Series is my first burst into color and shape. And for all those who have known me, I am always the same me and now just the silly.

So this is a pig’s “oink” of an apology for perhaps ruffling some feathers…and an official opening of my ‘Piglet Series”.
